During the conference, there will be a program for accompanying guests of conference delegates including several optional tours.

 

AP - Tel Aviv Tel Aviv Highlights; half day tour - excluding lunch $30

Sunday 10th January, 2016 

Schedule: Pick up from Hilton hotel, Tel Aviv – 14:00 (2pm), Return to Hilton hotel in Tel Aviv – 18:00 (6pm)

Tour will include: Driving around the main streets of Tel Aviv, center of business and entertainment of Israel. Stop at Rabin’s Square, place of assassination of Prime Minister Itzhak Rabin. Continue to Old Jaffa, an 8000 year old port city; Visit the ancient ruins and walk along the restored artist’s quarter. Visit Neve Tzedek, the first neighborhood of Tel Aviv, built in 1887 and Nahalat Benyamin, the pedestrian street of the city with its musicians, handmade jewellery and artifacts. Here ther will be 1 hour free time for shopping and lunch. Next, stop at Sheinkin, the lively and colorful street especially known with the unique shops, café life and youthful ambiance.

 

AP - Caesarea A half day tour of Caesarea (Western Coast) – including lunch $120

Monday 11th January, 2016

Schedule: Pick up from Hilton hotel, Tel Aviv – 9:00 (9am), Return to Hilton hotel in Tel Aviv – 16:00 (4pm)

Tour will include: Drive along the coastal road to Caesarea, the ancient Roman capital and port; enjoy a walking tour of the theatre and the archaeological ruins and excavations. There will be free time to wander around the port and have lunch.

 

AP - Nazareth A full day tour to the lower Galilee, Nazareth and Golan Heights (Biblical Highlights in the North) – including lunch $150

Tuesday 12th January, 2016

 Schedule: Pick up from Hilton hotel, Tel Aviv – 8:00 (8am), Return to Hilton hotel in Tel Aviv – 18:00 (6pm)

Views of the landscape of the lower Galilee to Nazareth, the town where Jesus spent his childhood. Visit the Church of Annunciation and the Church of St. Joseph. Continue, via Kana, to Tiberias, the lovely resort town.

Drive along the Kinneret lake to visit Capernaum and view the ruins of the ancient synagogue where Jesus taught; Continue to Tabgha, the site of the miracle of Fish and Loaves, located at the foot of the Golan Heights. Proceed to Yardenit, the famous Baptismal site where the Jordan River leaves the Sea of Galilee towards the Dead Sea. Return to point of departure.

NOTE: Modest dress (no shorts or sleevless shirts) and head covering are required for visiting holy places.

 

AP - Masada A full day tour to the Dead Sea and Masada – including lunch $150

Wednesday 13th January, 2016

Schedule: Pick up from Hilton hotel, Tel Aviv – 8:00 (8am), Return to Hilton hotel in Tel Aviv – 18:00 (6pm)

Drive along the shores of the Dead Sea (the lowest place on earth) to Masada. There you will learn about the heroic story of the Jewish fighters. Ascend by cable car and tour the mountain fortress built by King Herod, where the Zealots of the first century made their last stand against the Romans. Visit the remains of the walls, palaces, synagogue, water cisterns, mosaic floors, roman baths and other findings.

Descend by cable car. Continue to the Dead Sea: Enjoy the unique opportunity to swim and float in the Dead Sea that many believe has its therapeutic effects. On the way back, view Qumeran caves, where the Dead Sea Scrolls were found.

NOTE: Comfortable walking shoes, head covering, sun protection lotion, bathing suit and towel are recommended.
